Raspberry Moscato Punch: The Easy Girls Night Drink You’ll Make Again and Again

Some of my most cherished memories with dear friends happened on nights nobody planned. No reservations, no agenda, no preparation — just a spontaneous “are you free tonight?” text and the sudden realization that we all needed each other more than we knew. Those unplanned evenings have a magic to them that no amount of careful scheduling can replicate.

This Raspberry Moscato Punch was made for exactly those moments.

It is light, fruity, beautiful in the glass, and requires almost no effort. Everything can be mixed in under five minutes using ingredients that are easy to keep on hand. Whether you are hosting a formal girls night, throwing together a last-minute bridal shower brunch, or just opening a bottle of Moscato because Tuesday deserved better — this punch is going to feel like you planned it all along.

Why Moscato?

Moscato is the perfect base for a fruity wine punch because it is already doing most of the flavor work before you add a single thing. It is sweet, lightly floral, low in alcohol, and delicate enough to let the raspberry and lemon flavors shine without competition. It is also one of the most universally crowd-pleasing wines you can pour — the people who love wine love it, and the people who are not sure they love wine almost always like it.

Pairing it with raspberry lemonade and a splash of lemon-lime soda creates a drink that is bright, tangy, and refreshing — the kind of thing that goes down very easily on a warm afternoon with good company.

Ingredients

This recipe serves one generous glass. Scale up easily for a pitcher or punch bowl — just keep the 1:1:1 ratio.

  • 1 cup chilled Moscato wine
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7UP)
  • 1 cup raspberry lemonade
  • Fresh or frozen raspberries (for garnish and flavor)

That is it. Three pourable ingredients and a handful of berries.

How to Make Raspberry Moscato Punch

Make sure all your liquids are well chilled before you start — this punch is at its best ice cold, and warm ingredients will flatten the carbonation of the soda immediately.

  • Step 1: Pour the chilled Moscato, lemon-lime soda, and raspberry lemonade into a beautiful wine glass or stemmed glass over ice.
  • Step 2: Stir gently — just enough to bring everything together without losing the fizz.
  • Step 3: Drop in a few frozen raspberries to keep the drink cold and slowly infuse a little extra berry flavor as they thaw, or garnish with fresh raspberries on the rim for a prettier presentation.

Serve immediately and enjoy.

Tips and Variations

Make it a pitcher. For a girls night crowd, multiply the recipe by however many glasses you need, mix everything in a large pitcher, and keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Stir the soda in last, right before pouring, to preserve the bubbles. Garnish the pitcher with a handful of fresh raspberries floating on top — it looks stunning.

Frozen raspberries are your secret weapon. Beyond looking pretty, they act as flavored ice cubes that keep your drink cold without watering it down the way regular ice does. As they slowly thaw, they release a little extra berry sweetness into the punch. It is one of those small touches that makes a simple drink feel more intentional.

Swap the fruit to change the whole drink. This recipe is wonderfully flexible:

  • Strawberry version: Substitute strawberry lemonade for the raspberry lemonade and garnish with fresh sliced strawberries.
  • Blueberry version: Use blueberry lemonade and frozen blueberries — the color is gorgeous.
  • Peach version: Swap in peach lemonade and a few slices of fresh peach for a summer brunch variation.

Make it a mocktail. Replace the Moscato with white grape juice or sparkling white grape juice for a completely alcohol-free version that is just as pretty and delicious. Perfect for including everyone at the table.

Upgrade the glass. This punch deserves a beautiful glass. A large stemmed wine glass, a stemless goblet, or even a champagne flute all work and make the drink feel like more of an occasion. The pale pink color with the floating raspberries is genuinely pretty — it photographs beautifully too, if you are so inclined.

Making It for a Crowd: Pitcher and Punch Bowl Versions

Pitcher (serves 6–8):

  • 1 bottle (750ml) chilled Moscato
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • 2 cups raspberry lemonade
  • 1–2 cups frozen raspberries

Mix the Moscato and raspberry lemonade in the pitcher first. Add the soda just before serving. Float the frozen raspberries on top.

Punch bowl (serves 12–15): Double the pitcher recipe. Consider adding a small scoop of raspberry or lemon sorbet to the punch bowl in place of ice — it keeps the punch cold, looks beautiful, and adds a little extra sweetness as it melts.
