Champagne Gummy Bears | The Easiest Bubbly Party Treat You’ll Ever Make
Two ingredients, zero effort, and a whole lot of fun – these Champagne Gummy Bears are the boozy bite-size treat your next party has been waiting for.

The Story Behind These Champagne Bears
Some of the best recipes are born from a moment of pure, spontaneous creativity — and these Champagne Gummy Bears are proof of that.
This one goes back to our time stationed on Kwajalein Atoll. Summers there were full of softball games — multiple nights a week — and the usual crowd-pleasers I’d been bringing were starting to feel a little routine. Jello shots, custom cocktails-to-go, the usual suspects. I’d made vodka and rum gummies before and always loved them, but one afternoon as I stood in front of our bar staring at our stash of chilled champagne (we always kept bottles at the ready — you truly never know when a moment calls for a celebration), something clicked.
Right next to the champagne sat a bulk bag of gummy bears I’d been using as homework motivation for our youngest. Of all my girls, she was the one who responded to the gummy bear reward system — each of my kids is wonderfully different, even growing up in the same house with the same parents. In a flash of inspiration, those two things came together and Voila! Champagne bears were born.

Ingredients:
- Gummy Bears – your favorite brand or a bulk bag
- Champagne – no need for anything fancy; a budget-friendly bottle is perfect
- 2 oz. disposable cups
Pro Tip: Prosecco, Cava, or any sparkling wine works perfectly here too. Each brings a slightly different flavor profile to the champagne gummies. Dry varieties tend to let the fruit flavor of the gummies shine; sweeter sparkling wines amplify that candy sweetness.

How to Make Champagne Gummy Bears
Step 1: Fill your Cups
- Place 5-7 gummies into each 2 oz disposable cups.
- Using 2 oz disposable cups place 5-7 n each container.
Step 2: Pour the Champagne
- Pour just enough champagne over top of the gummies to cover them completely. The bears will absorb the liquid as they soak, so make sure they are fully submerged.
Step 3: Refrigerate Overnight
- Cover and refrigerate for a minimum on 9 hours or overnight. The longer they soak, the more champagne flavor the bears absorb – they’ll plump up noticeably.
Step 4: Enjoy!
- Pour off the remaining champagne and serve with toothpicks. They’re best enjoyed cold straight from the refrigerator or cooler.
