Mama Sauce

Mama Sauce is a cocktail that was invented just for me right after I had our twins and wanted to enjoy a cocktail, but with a smaller alcohol content and taste. Nathan really stepped up and made it perfect for what I needed. The Mama Sauce Cocktail is a refreshing blend of sweet, sour, fruity, and smooth almond flavor. This is still my Mom’s go to drink since she tried it way back in 2009. Plus, I am a huge maraschino cherry fan so any time I can add a few I’m totally game.

Being from Wisconsin, we are known for loving a good cocktail…. I mean, I’m pretty sure Wisconsin is the only state with its own signature drink: A brandy old fashioned. If you’d like to try the best Wisconsin Old Fashioned check out ours, you won’t be disappointed.

• 2 oz. Amaretto
• 1 oz. Citrus Vodka
• 1 oz. Triple Sec
• 1 oz. Peach Schnaps
• 5 oz. Sour Mix
• Splash of Maraschino Cherry Juice
• Maraschino Cherries for serving

Place all ingredients except your serving cherries into an alcohol shaker with 3 ice cubes and shake to stir. Pour into your glass with ice cubes and serve with Maraschino Cherries. ENJOY!
