Adult Ice Cream Drinks

The Mudslide, Grasshopper, Pink Squirrel and Brandy Alexander are the top dessert drinks from any Supper Club in WI. Living in Texas currently (which is currently a mile from the Sun) and it being summer, during a pandemic, and unable to travel home to enjoy such drinks, we decided we needed to make them up at home…. and then as we love to do, share these delicious recipes with you.

Now in Wisconsin each place and most people make these drinks slightly different. They almost always have the same ingredients but the amounts vary from place to place. These are our recipes that we made up and have been serving in our house for years. If you are used to stronger ones then all you need to do is up the alcohol a bit until it suits your needs.

We love these versions as they are not to get you tipsy but deliver a delicious end of the meal treat with a touch of alcohol. Can’t beat that in this heat that’s for sure.

Chocolate Mudslide

• 1/2 oz. Chocolate Vodka
• 1/2 oz. Irish Cream
• 1/2 oz. Kahlua
• 1/2 oz. Creme De Cacao (dark)
• 6 normal scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
• Whip Topping (optional)
• Chocolate Syrup

Place Chocolate Vodka, Irish Cream, Kahlua, Creme De Cacao, and Ice Cream into a blender and blend. Pour into your glass that has chocolate syrup drizzled on the inside of the glass, top with whip topping and chocolate syrup. ENJOY!

Grasshopper

• 1 oz. Creme De Menthe
• 1 oz. Creme De Cacao (clear)
• 6 normal scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
• Whip Topping (optional)

Place Creme De Menthe, Creme De Cacao and Ice Cream into a blender and blend. Pour into your glass and top with whip topping. ENJOY!

Pink Squirrel

• 1 oz. Creme De Almond ( also known as Creme de Noyaux)
• 1 oz. Creme De Cacao (clear)
• 6 normal scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
• Whip Topping (optional)

Place Creme De Almond, Creme De Cacao and Ice Cream into a blender and blend. Pour into your glass and top with whip topping. ENJOY!

Brandy Alexander

• 1 oz. Brandy
• 1 oz. Creme De Cacao (clear)
• 6 normal scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
• dusting of Nutmeg on top
• Whip Topping (optional)

Place Brandy, Creme De Cacao and Ice Cream into a blender and blend. Pour into your glass and top with whip topping and dust with nutmeg. ENJOY!
