Peanut Butter Bars Kinda Life
These Peanut Butter Bars are deliciously creamy and have been one of my family favorites for generations. In fact my love for these was started back when I was a child and my Aunt would make these for family gatherings. It didn’t matter if it was taco Tuesdays or Swedish Meatball Thursday (a few of our dinners that no one ever missed) these were normally close by. I love the simplicity of them and well who doesn’t like a peanut butter cup? I should forewarn you that they are highly addictive and should be made for gatherings or you may not be able to help yourself from eating half a tray of them. Best part they can be prepared the night before or right away and served as soon as it sets …. which is about 20 mins if you can wait that long.
Serves: 9×13 pan or thick ones in an 8×8
Ingredients
- 2 sticks melted butter
- 3/4 cups crushed graham crackers which is about 1 sleeve
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 package of chocolate almond bark (6 squares)
Directions

Start by melting your butter and then adding in your crushed graham crackers. Mix until fully saturated then mix in your peanut butter, powdered sugar and Vanilla completely.
Next grab your 9×13 baking dish and press your mixture into bottom. If you want really thick bars use a 8×8 baking dish.

Finally take a separate bowl and melt your chocolate almond bark until smooth and spread on top of your Peanut Butter base.

Place in the refrigerator until set.
