This deliciously addictive Apple Crisp is easy to make and pairs perfectly with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream making it a family favorite. It was referred to as our “Secret Family Apple Crisp” growing up, but today I’m going to share it with all of you (not to worry I have been given the family permission to share).
Ingredients
- 8-12 large Apples
- 2 cups Sugar- separated into two separate 1 cup bowls
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 2/3 cup Butter
Preheat oven 450F
Start by greasing the 9×13 baking dish with stick of butter and placing the sliced apples in the bottom.

Next sprinkle the cinnamon and 1 cup of sugar mixture overtop of the apples.
In separate bowl cut in the butter (using a pastry cutter) into the flour and sugar that remains. Once throughly mixed sprinkle over the apples and cinnamon sugar in the pan.

Bake uncovered at 450F for 10 mins and then proceed to turn down to 350F for 40 mins.

Apple Crisp is best served warm and with vanilla ice cream.
