Zoodles with Meat Sauce will satisfy that craving for a savory pasta dish while keeping up with that lower carb life. I’ve been incorporating low carb dishes into my families meal rotation for years and lately more so than ever. My kids actually request this “green noodle” pasta dish that, well, isn’t pasta at all.
- 2 lbs. Ground Beef
- 28 oz. can of Crushed Tomatoes
- 14 oz. can of diced Tomatoes
- 10 oz. can of Cannelli Beans, drained
- 4-5 medium Zucchinis (ends cut and spiralized)
- 1 large Onions (diced)
- 5 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- Fresh Basil, chopped

Start by using a spiralizer and cut the zucchinis into zoodles.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the diced onions and minced garlic. Continue to cook until the onions are see through. Drain any excess fat from the ground beef and return to the skillet. Next add in the Cannelli Beans

Heat slightly and proceed to add in the tomatoes, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

You can serve the meat sauce immediately over the zoodles or I prefer to heat the zoodles slightly. In a separate frying pan heat the zoodles over medium heat for a few minutes until softened. Serve the meat sauce over the zoodles and top with chopped fresh basil.
