This Creamy Cucumber Salad was inspired by the cucumber salad I grew up with in Wisconsin and a German Cucumber Salad I came across years ago. I think it’s a beautiful blend of both and a fresh crisp side dish you’ll want to whip up all year long.
- 2-3 Cucumbers sliced thin
- 1 small yellow Onion sliced thin
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 tsp Dill weed
- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste

Start by slicing your cucumbers and onion very thin and set aside. In a medium bowl cream the rest of the ingredients together until fully blended. Then fold in the cucumbers and onions. Let them marinate in the fridge at least 1 hour.
This creamy cucumber salad will taste amazing next to sandwich or one of our favorites is next to a perfectly done steak and sweet potato fries giving it a nice blend of savory sweet and meaty goodness.
