Creamy Chicken Pasta is a savory quick and easy dinner I’ve been making for years that everyone is excited to see hit the table. One thing I love about this dish is that it can be made entirely in one cast iron pan or dutch oven. Anything to save on dishes is a huge hit for me. Don’t get me wrong ; I love a meal that is meant to take all day and impress as well but not in the middle of the week when I need to feed my family of 6 in under an hour.
This Creamy Chicken Pasta recipe is one you will want to keep on hand for just those times.

Ingredients:
- 1lb Penne Pasta
- 8oz Rotisserie chicken
- 28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 6oz can tomato paste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup white cooking wine
- 6 fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook the pasta per package until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat sauté the onion with the olive oil until soft and transparent. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add in cooking wine and allow to slightly evaporate for about 45 seconds. Next, add in the crushed tomato sauce and paste, stir until fully blended. Finally add in the basil, parsley, and Italian seasoning, combining completely.
Reduce the heat and stir in the rotisserie chicken and cooked pasta. Pour in cream, stirring until coated evenly. Salt and pepper to taste.
Enjoy!
