I’ve seen a lot of posts lately about Instant Pot Ribs and thought, “what a brilliant idea!” I mean, I could take our recipe that we normally did in the oven and reproduce it in the instant pot in under 45 minutes…. YES PLEASE!!!!
Okay, so fair warning: these are soooo dang good you will want to make them weekly. You will get cravings for them and your kids will beg you to make them again.
Not even joking a little.
These Instant Pot Ribs are so mouth watering, tender, fall-off-the-bone-sauced-up-perfect-with-every-bite-meaty-goodness. Now if that doesn’t make you want to run out and buy some ribs and try it yourself I don’t know what will. Trust me on this one. Make these ASAP.
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs- preferably without the membrane otherwise you’ll need to remove that
- Your Favorite BBQ Rub
- Your Favorite BBQ sauce (we use Sweet Baby Rays)

Directions:
Rinse off your baby back ribs and pat dry with a paper towel. Take the rub and pat it into the ribs on both sides. Some will fall off, but the majority will stick to them. Let them sit while you prepare your Instant Pot.

Take your Instant Pot and place the trivet into the base then add 1 cup of water. Take your first set of ribs and insert them into the Instant Pot on top of the trivet, curling around the pan. Then take the second set of ribs and do the same on the inside of the first rack of ribs.

Seal the Instant Pot and pressure cook on High for 25 minutes with a Quick Release.

Carefully remove the ribs and you technically can eat them now by slathering on some BBQ sauce. But to really give it that amazing finish, you’re going to want to place those cooked ribs onto a baking sheet basted in your BBQ sauce and Broil them for 3-4 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand about 5 minutes before cutting.

Serve these baby back ribs with your favorite sides. We like to pair our ribs with our Homemade Coleslaw, Sweet Wisconsin Pasta Salad, Southern BBQ Beans, and Air Fryer Potato Chips.
