Fast, Easy and Delicious… Yes please! A great thing about this Instant Pot Apple Sauce recipe is that not only does it take just 3 minutes to make on on manual, you can serve it immediately, freeze, can via water bath, or preserve in individual squeeze pouches for now or later. Every Fall I make up a few batches of Apple Sauce along side my Freezer Apple Pie Filling.
Ingredients
- 3lb bag of apples
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 3/4 cup of water

Directions
Place all the ingredients in your Instant Pot and cook on manual for 3 minutes. Followed by a natural release of 15 minutes plus.

Next, use an immersion blender, regular blender, or food processor to purée to your desired consistency. Proceed with how you want to store your apple sauce. I like to can a batch and also make 2-3 batches of squeeze pouches to be stored in the freezer up to a year. I like the pouches because I can pull one out in the morning for a kids lunch and it will be ready to eat by their lunch time.

This Instant Pot Apple Sauce can be made in many different variations by adding 1 cup of another fruit, cut up to this recipe. My family favorites are apple strawberry and apple blueberry.
