Popped Popcorn (or Puffcorn especially for littles)
Red and Blue Pop Rocks
White melting Chocolate or Almond Bark, (Optional Red and Blue Food Dye)
Red, White and Blue M&Ms
Instructions
Pop your popcorn however you like — microwave, stovetop, or air-popped all work great. Spread it out in an even layer on a large baking sheet or piece of parchment paper.
Melt your white chocolate or almond bark according to package directions. Want to go full red, white& blue? Divide the melted chocolate into three portions and tint one red and one blue with food dye, leaving one white.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn.While it's still warm and sticky, immediately scatter the Pop Rocks and M&Ms all over the top.
Let the chocolate set for just a few minutes,then break it up into pieces and pile it into a bowl or bag. Serve immediately for Maximum Pop Rocks crackle!
